High Road Kitchens

High Road Kitchens is a grant program launched by RAISE and One Fair Wage during the COVID pandemic to address a variety of challenges. First, to allow access to free meals for folks who are food insecure. Next, to increase employment security for underemployed service sector professionals who had been laid off, furloughed, or had their hours reduced. Finally, to support and highlight independent restaurants that commit to High Road employment practices, specifically wage, race, and gender equity in recruitment, hiring, training, and promotional practices.
